How many matching tags should I add?

The ideal number of matching tags primarily depends on the size of the event:

• <50 Attendees: 2-8 tags
• 50-199 Attendees: 6-12 tags
• 200-499 Attendees: 10-20 tags
• 500+ Attendees: 15-30 tags

We recommend targeting a specific number of tags, in total, no matter whether they're in a single category or across multiple. Use your judgement around which tags/categories are most useful for your audience and their goals at your specific event.

Additionally, we know organizers want their meetaways to run well. Often they think adding lots of tags gives attendees lots of control which is true. However, attendees typically prefer simple and easy to use so no need to go overboard on tags. When in doubt, err on the side of simple.
