How does Meetaway handle data privacy?
We care about our attendees immensely, and some care a good deal about data privacy.
As such, we encrypt our website, our databases at rest and in transit, and attendees' video calls. More importantly, we also treat people's information with respect. We do not collect information for the sake of collecting information and limit the data we collect to the minimum that is required to provide attendees an excellent experience.
Furthermore, this means we don’t sell attendees data or do other nefarious things and immediately comply with any requests attendees have for their data to be deleted, but it also means much more than that. We have a culture of respecting our attendees and designing our business around them and their goals - this applies to the decisions we make, including the way we treat attendees data.
We are also GDPR compliant.
