How do I start my event?

Your event runs automatically at the scheduled start time. There's nothing you need to do (unless your event also includes a webinar).

We know this can feel a bit different at first because organizers are so used to having to do everything. We recommend that organizers either attend the event themselves or watch the "live stats" on the event data tab of the organizer dashboard for their first few events. Organizers also love seeing the attendee feedback report after the event is over. That said, after running a few events, many organizers simply check on them after they've taken place.

With webinars, you'll need at least one host to attend the event. They'll be prompted to start the webinar and can end it at anytime (or pass the responsibility to another attendee).

But when it comes to the starting and the running of your event, we take care of everything. Just sit back and let your attendees build relationships with one another. Of course, you’re welcome to attend as well if you’d like and we certainly encourage this, but know that Meetaway will work even if you’re on vacation.
