How are event templates used?

Core Functionality:
Organizers can save any event as an Event Template so that all organizers on the same account can create new events that use the template as a starting spot. Furthermore, event's can be shared with organizers on other accounts so they can use the event as a template.

Best Practices:
If you have multiple organizers running events, it can make sense to create event templates for every common style of event you run. This makes it easy for multiple organizers to run a similar style of event and saves them time in customizing event descriptions, email copy, and matching tags. That said, it copies over every aspect of the event (except the attendees, of course) so it can also be used to copy over kickoff videos, wrap-up survey customizations, conversation objections, etc.
If your organization uses multiple accounts with Meetaway, you can share events that you've run between the accounts (using the "Share as Event Template" option). Often times, associations will have someone put together templates and share them with all of their chapters so that each chapter can more quickly run a handful of common Meetaway's that they've had particular success with before.

How to Use:
You can access your existing templates on the logged-in homepage. You can edit these or create a new event from them.
For any existing event, you can save them as event templates from the dropdown just to the right of the "Event Links" button.
You can also share any event as an event template (to share between accounts) from that same dropdown.
