Can organizers give sponsors and other VIPs preferential matching?
Yes! In addition to picking specific matches for attendees, organizers can designate attendees as having "VIP Matching." In Meetaway's system, this designation prioritizes these attendees preferences and ensures they meet more of who they want to meet.
In practice - as long as the attendees they indicate they want to meet with do not specifically avoid them and of course actually show up to the event, then there is very high likelihood that those VIPs will meet exactly who they want to meet.
Organizers can also highlight specific attendees as sponsors in the event directory, which will spotlight them and make them more prominent.
