# Can I host a webinar on Meetaway?

Yes.  Meetaway is designed to support both: speaker + networking style events and also pure networking events.

With our webinar, you're able to host speakers, panel discussions, live audience Q&A, and more.

In scenarios where you simply want to briefly welcome attendees, we recommend that you use a kickoff video instead of a live-webinar.  Using a kickoff video enables attendees to see it right when the check-in, no matter whether they're early or late to this event.  This way, everyone gets the information they want right when they're ready for it.  Plus, they can watch and listen to your kickoff video while they check-in for the event which makes better use of their time.
